I am Bohan Deng, a 2025 undergraduate student majoring in Artificial Intelligence at Great Bay University. My research interests include computer vision, multimodal learning, AIGC detection, and fine-grained visual categorization. I have published a CCF-C paper as the first author: “Optical Flow-Guided Asymmetric Cross-Modal Fine-grained Visual Categorization: A Method and Dataset.”

Looking For Research collaborators and engineering partners

I participated in IEEE Winter School on Biometrics 2026 and organized the development of an OpenCV-based project for face orientation recognition, occlusion detection, and beauty-filter similarity comparison. I currently lead Mood Cafe, a Guangdong provincial innovation and entrepreneurship training project, and contribute to CS101-copilot, focusing on backend development and modular feature implementation.

I have read 40+ research papers and reproduced 12 CCF-A papers. I am looking for like-minded research collaborators, engineering partners, and long-term growth opportunities.

My advisor is Zitong Yu, tenured Associate Professor at Great Bay University, national high-level young talent, recipient of the National Outstanding Overseas Student Award, IEEE/CCF Senior Member, Deputy Director of the Dongguan Key Laboratory of Intelligent Information Technology, and Stanford’s Top 2% Scientists.

Skills & Directions

Programming Foundation

I mainly use Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and can build basic web applications, backend APIs, and experimental scripts.

Model Architecture & Optimization

I am familiar with visual model structures such as Vision Transformer, CNN, and ResNet, and can quickly set up experiments, train models, and analyze results.

Communication

With bilingual instruction at Great Bay University and full-English communication experience at IEEE Winter School on Biometrics 2026, I can communicate technical ideas clearly in English.
